New Orleans Saints vs. Denver Broncos Preview
In probably one of the most interesting games of the entire weekend, two of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL will match-up on Sunday Night Football. Sunday Night Football seems to always bring big games, but this week when Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints head to take on Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos it is likely to draw a whole lot of attention. Both offenses have the potential to score early and often on opponents making the potential for this game to be a great one even higher. The Saints have had a rough year to say the least though, as they are 2-4 overall, and actually started out 0-4 to start. They are looking up at the currently undefeated Atlanta Falcons who are 6-0, so they definitely have some work to do. The Broncos on the other hand haven’t been perfect as they are .500, but are holding the lead on an unimpressive AFC West. Kickoff on Sunday night is at 8:30pm EST and the game will be in Denver.

Saints Lean on Brees
The Saints are going to simply rely on what they always rely on, which is Drew Brees and that ridiculously look good passing game. Expect Brees to air it out all night and hit his multiple different options at receiver as well. The Saints defense has been a serious weak point, and that specifically means their pass defense, meaning that this could be trouble as they are up against Peyton Manning. Brees is going to have to keep pace with Manning and the Broncos offense against his struggling defense on Sunday Night Football this weekend, so I think that we could be in for a shootout.
Broncos Need More than Manning
For the Broncos, they’ll look to pound the run with Willis McGahee to open up the field for Peyton Manning to throw it around, and it’ll probably end up working well. The Broncos offense hasn’t been the issue, but their defense has struggled at times this season. Outside of the second half that they had against Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers, they haven’t put together too many great games. I think that the Broncos are going to need to let Manning air it out often against this Saints defense, and are going to have to find a way to slow down Brees.

New Orleans Saints vs. Denver Broncos Betting Prediction
I’m very surprised to see that the Saints are +6 point underdogs, but their defense really has struggled. I’m not denying that this is going to be a very high scoring game, and I could definitely see a score of something like 38-35 or 34-31 here in all honesty. That’s a very high scoring game, but both offenses are going to be airing it out, and I simply don’t think that the defenses are going to be able to do enough to slow either quarterback or any of the wide outs down. With that being said, Brees has his team together enough to be able to keep this one close and possibly pull out the win. While I’m not 100% sold on the win, I do like the Saints to cover the spread of +6 and likely sail over the 55.5 total in this one.
