New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys Preview
In the biggest game of the year for the Dallas Cowboys, they are going to welcome Drew Brees and the powerful offense of the New Orleans Saints. Why is this game so huge for the Boys’? Well, their playoff hopes are likely going to rely on this game. If they win, they are going to be in for a huge game in week 17 against the Washington Redskins to see who gets into the playoffs as the NFC East champion. If they lose though, then they are in a tough spot and are going to need some help to be able to get in. For the Saints on the other hand, they are simply playing for pride at this point as they are 6-8 overall, but are coming off of a huge 41-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Boys’ are the home team here and kickoff is set for 1:00pm EST.

Drew Brees and Company Come to Dallas
The Saints offense has the potential to be huge any week, and this one is no different. While the Cowboys secondary was solid last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and actually won them the game with a huge interception in overtime, they are going to need a repeat performance against Drew Brees. The Saints defense is the real issue, and even though they posted a shutout last week, Tony Romo has been hot over the past few games, and the Saints secondary is nothing to get too excited about. Demarco Murray has also been playing well, so the Saints defense will really need to step up.
Can Romo Perform Week 16?
For the Cowboys it’s going to be about doing exactly what they did last weekend. They controlled the ball, made smart plays, and simply took what the defense gave them. The Boys’ defense also contained Ben Roethlisberger a good amount also, and expect them to try to put some pressure on Brees to make him uncomfortable. I’m expecting Romo and the Cowboys offense to have a big day, and for them to put some major points on the board. This could quickly turn into a shootout between the two sides, especially if the defenses don’t step up early.

New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys Betting Prediction
What a close spread we have here. The Cowboys are just small -1 point favorites at home. Big game here, and it’s one that many NFL fans are going to have their eye on. For Cowboys’ fans, it’s about avoiding that December disappointment that we’ve seen so much in the past. Fortunately for Cowboys fans though, I think that they are going to get to week 17 with a chance to win the division. The Saints’ defensive struggles are just too much to overlook for me, especially when Tony Romo and the Cowboys offense is playing so well. They’ve been playing some incredible football over the past few weeks, and winning close games. This one won’t be easy for the home team, but I’m taking the Boys’ to win it by a touchdown when all is said and done. Cowboys win 31-24.
